Wantok is not your average record label. We're a small, non-profit organisation that works directly with artists and communities. These relationships are what makes us successful and what we value most. We're about collaboration and building links between First Nations Australian and Melanesian artists, and between these artists and audiences in Australia and around the world. Our goals are to help artists build a sustainable source of income and to facilitate cultural exchange and understanding. Importantly, all artists working with Wantok retain 100% ownership of their music.
