Supporting Returning Citizens in the Mahoning Valley

United Returning Citizens (URC) is a movement preparing men, women, and families for successful transition back into the community following incarceration. Our objective is to build a community of returning citizens that will implement change in their lives, households, and communities. 

In Ohio, nearly 1 in 3 people end up back in the prison system following incarceration. URC knows the best solution for successful integration is to provide the essentials: a place to live, food to eat, trusted support systems, and good paying jobs. URC is dedicated to providing this support system in our community.
