Your donation protects the otterly invaluable southern sea otter!


The Otter Project protects our watersheds and coastal oceans to promote the rapid recovery of the threatened California sea otter. For over two decades, The Otter Project has safeguarded sea otters through science-based policy and advocacy that supports sea otter populations and the ecosystems they depend on. I am excited to say that I'm running the Mermaid Half Marathon on February 25th to bring awareness to this organization to protect these little guys!  Please feel free to support by making a donation through the link on the site.


Currently, 100% of the donations will go directly to projects that protect the southern sea otter through habitat improvements, ocean climate solutions, and coastal protections that allow California's sea otters to thrive. Since California Coastkeeper Alliance and the Otter Project have merged, this may change slightly to support operations which will allow them to expand projects.
