Encourage Equip is a ministry started by Nathan Wesley Smith to carry out the call on his life. Seeing people be who they could be through the power of the Holy Spirit and the help of authentic community is a passion that helps fuel the dream behind the ministry. Nathan desires to not only serve the Body of Christ locally and around the world, but the pastors, leaders, missionaries, and christian business owners who are often overlooked in the process.

Research shows loneliness among pastors and ministry leaders to be growing at an alarming rate. Barna research shows over 65% of all who serve in ministry to be struggling in this area. It is often hard for those in positions of leadership and spiritual authority to feel they can have genuine friendships. Encourage Equip wants to go right at that problem through relational support, networking, and simply being a friend who cares and understands. In that process, we hope to develop and employ tools and resources to be a help for those doing Kingdom work while also raising and supplying funds and strategic resources to deploy to those who struggle to advocate for themselves.
