Goal
Welcome to Northwest Marketplaces, organizers of Seattle’s favorite public markets like the Fremont Sunday Market, Seattle Night Market and Mobile Food Rodeo for 30 years. Family-owned and operated, we’re a small business that greatly counts on weekly markets to support our vendors, their employees and our own operations, so we’re faced with a daunting responsibility and looking to get through this together!
Right now, we’ve been forced to close due to COVID-19, per the City of Seattle’s plans to slow the spread of the virus effective March 16th through April 13th, but we expect it may extend longer.
We’re asking for your help in the form of a small donation of $10 to keep our small organization alive to allow our staff to continue to support our community of small businesses that rely on our markets to support a living wage for their families.
Vendor Assistance Programs:
- Provide complimentary ad promotion and sales opportunities through our social channels
- Provide free web services to support and encourage small businesses to get their business online for opportunities during closure
- Assist vendors with deferral of market and festival booths fees upon return, so they can get back on their feet and continue to vend.
In these uncertain times, there’s no guarantee that our organization and community of small businesses can return curbside if this COVID-19 extends past April without your help. Everyday counts and you can help to show your support by donating online and sharing it with your friends and family.
This is our first time asking our patrons; but if you have greatly enjoyed attending our community markets & festivals in Fremont, South Lake Union or Magnuson Park; we kindly ask you make a one-time donation to ensure they can return curbside to celebrate our respective communities.
At the same time, your contribution will directly go to helping our active small businesses that regularly attend the market. This donation will go directly to supporting vendors by allowing us to expand our services online by keeping our staff employed while closed. It’s time to get creative, band together and work together to shop local.
We simply want to be there to show these vendors there’s hope and enhanced resources to keep their business alive now and into the aftermath.
We Thank you for your consideration and continued support during this time.
