Together, We Build a Better World!
Who We Are
The Indigenous Water Bank (IWB) Co-operative is a global movement rooted in Indigenous wisdom and co-operative principles. We serve as a sacred vessel for protecting and distributing life-giving water across communities worldwide. Since 2010, IWB has been building systems that honor water as a living being — not a commodity — while advancing water sovereignty, community development, and co-operative economics.
What We Do
Through our Water Banking system, IWB:
Provides clean, artesian water through co-op fundraising programs.
Supports sacred aquifer access and global water crisis relief.
Funds land trust development and sustainable housing.
Builds a global co-operative network for Indigenous and allied communities.
Why It Matters
Water is life. Yet billions face water insecurity while Indigenous peoples worldwide continue to safeguard the majority of Earth’s biodiversity. Supporting IWB means protecting sacred water sources, strengthening community resilience, and leaving a living legacy for generations to come.
