The Harlem Center for Education offers college admissions counseling, financial aid counseling, academic advising, career counseling, SAT prep, and High School Equivalency classes for low-income, first-generation youth and adults in the East Harlem and broader New York City communities. Over the past 50 years, we have placed over 27,000 students in 185 colleges. The purpose of this work is to allow our participants to access the postsecondary education and training they need to compete for and obtain high-wage, high-growth employment and escape poverty. All of our services are free. Your generous donation in any amount allows us to continue and expand our college access services. Thank you for your consideration.
