Pongo a la venta parte de mi exposición fotográfica titulada Wa Habibi (Oh Mi Amor).
El objetivo de esta iniciativa es apoyar al pueblo sirio. Todos los intentos de ayuda tienen su valor y no importa cuán pequeños o grandes sean.
Los civiles en Siria sufrieron 12 años de conflicto sangriento, junto con la actual crisis económica, y recientemente dos terremotos devastadores y docenas de réplicas sacudieron el sureste de Turquía y Siria el 6 de febrero.
Cientos de miles de civiles son víctimas de esa tragedia en curso y necesitan toda posible ayuda.
La exposición Wa Habibi [Oh, mi amor], organizada por Casa Árabe y comisariada por María Santoyo, presenta una selección de imágenes tomadas por la autora Carole Alfarah en Siria entre 2012 y 2015. Ninguna de ellas refleja los bandos, las armas o la violencia; tampoco pretenden aclarar las causas del conflicto o posicionarse políticamente. Simplemente muestran, con una sensibilidad fuera de lo común y un profundo respeto hacia el prójimo, hasta qué punto la condición humana se ve alterada por la guerra. Carole Alfarah ha sido testigo de la descomposición de una tierra que ama y que ahora reconoce a duras penas. Sus imágenes transmiten una realidad inasumible y cercana.
Desde 2016 hasta 2019, la muestra ya pudo verse en las sedes de Casa Árabe de Madrid y Córdoba, así como en el Centro Cultural La Casa Elizalde de Barcelona en colaboración con el IEMed y en la Fundación Tres Culturas de Sevilla, y finalizó en el Centro Cultural San Clemente de Toledo.
Más de 20 mil personas han podido ver la exposición fotográfica en España que fue considerada dentro de las cinco exposiciones más originales en Madrid en 2016 según Europa Press.
Están en venta solo dos secciones de la exposición:
La primera titulada: ¿Qué ha pasado?, (What happened?)
6 fotografías de tamaño grande 135x200 cm impresas sobre papel de algodón Hahnemühle Fine Art.
El precio de una copia única sería 650 euros
La segunda titulada: Mírame, (Look at me)
27 fotografías de tamaño medio 40x60 cm impresas sobre papel de algodón Hahnemühle Fine Art.
El precio de una copia única sería 150 euros.

Seleccionar el nombre numérico de la foto, realizar el pago a través de la web y luego enviar un correo a [email protected] indicando la foto elegida y dejando su dirección postal.
El objetivo de la venta es puramente para recaudar dinero para el pueblo sirio, al final de la recaudación enviaremos las obras a sus destinatarios con carta de agradecimiento, junto a copia de parte de las ONGs con recibo muestra la cantidad del dinero donado.

I put up for sale part of my photography exhibition titled Wa Habibi (Oh My Love).
The goal of this initiative is to support the Syrian people. Every attempt to help has value
no matter how big or small it is.
Civilians in Syria suffered 12 years of bloody conflict, alongside the current economic crisis, and lately, two devastating earthquakes and dozens of aftershocks hit south-east Turkey and Syria the 6th of February.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians are victims of the ongoing tragedy and need all possible help.
The photo exhibition Wa Habibi [Oh, my love], organized by Casa Árabe and curated by María Santoyo.
It shows a selection of images taken by the author Carole Alfarah in Syria between 2012 and 2015.
None of them reflect the armed groups, the weapons, or the visual violence; nor do they seek to clarify
the causes of the conflict or show any political position. They simply show, with unusual sensitivity and
deep respect for the persons, to what extent the human condition is altered by war.
Carole Alfarah has witnessed the decay of a land she loves and now barely recognizes.
Her images transmit an unaffordable and close reality.
From 2016 to 2019, the exhibition was seen at the Casa Árabe offices in Madrid and Córdoba,
as well as at Casa Elizalde Cultural Center in Barcelona in collaboration with the IEMed, at the
Tres Culturas Foundation in Seville, and ended at the Cultural Center San Clemente in Toledo.
More than 20 thousand people have been able to see the photographic exhibition in Spain.
It was considered among the five most original exhibitions in Madrid in 2016 according to Europa Press.

The purpose of the fundraising is purely to raise money to support people in Syria, at the end of the collection we will send the images to their new owners with a thank you letter, also a copy of a receipt from the NGOs showing the amount of money donated.
