Goal
UAW Local 95 Unit 12 is ON STRIKE against Mercyhealth East Clinic in Janesville, WI!
Despite multiple rounds of bargaining and two contract extensions, Mercyheath is desperate to pass increased health care costs on to our members. Local 95 said NO!Healthcare workers should be able to afford healthcare!
After UAW members stood up, management sent them a letter indicating their jobs were in jeopardy.
Worse yet, Local 95 Unit 12 has sincere safety concerns and has proposed Mercyhealth provide security guards to ensure patients and members are safe. They won't even install exterior cameras. Our members arrive early and leave late, often in the dark. Mercy refuses to act but of course, they were able to hire security as soon as the strike started!UAW members at Local 95 didn't want a fight. They want a fair contract that keeps up with increases in costs and wage increases that aren't eaten up by insurance costs. They want safety and security. If Mercyhealth can afford CEO pay $10-$15 million dollars a year, they can protect the people that earn their wealth.
IF you're able, please help UAW Local 95 STAND UP!
