A donation from two gay men in support of Stonewall’s ongoing work towards equality of Trans rights

The Observer's misleading travesty of an editorial on the politically compromised EHRC vs, y'know, the actual representatives of the Scottish people acting in full consultation with them all whilst the Council of Europe's censure of the UK for attacks on LGBTI human rights goes largely unreported reminding me again why the need for Stonewall is stronger than ever. Just wish I had more to donate.

Every time I read a transphobic piece in the Observer, Stonewall gets another donation. Keep fighting the good fight.

I am the Chair of a society at the University of Winchester and we shall be hosting a fundraiser in February in support of Stonewall, my committee is donating to encourage our members to participate in the meantime! We believe this charity is important and deserves our support during the Universities fundraising week! We hope you help more lives with the money we shall raise. xx

Gairloch High School had a non-uniform day to raise money for Stonewall. This was organised by one of our senior pupils, Liz Mclachlan who said " I'm happy to have been able to raise money for the Stonewall charity as I haven't always been accepted, I like to think I helped others in the younger years feel the acceptance I didn't in my younger years and it's a good thing to leave behind as I go to college this year."

I work in the Civil Service, and my department has taken a ministerial decision to unilaterally withdraw from the Diversity Programme and Workplace Index. Given the ideological and political motivation behind this, I am making this donation as a show of solidarity with all my LGBT+ colleagues.

The allowance of conversion therapy signifies a belief that our existence is wrong. Let’s abolish it x

A late friend and colleague of ours; Tim, passed away in a tragic accident in July last year. He was one of life's characters, a person who was full of life. We put a memorial fund together (as he chose not to have a funeral) so that we could place a bench and a tree outside the office in memory of him. We believed that some of the donations should go to those charities closest to him - Tim had quite a few difficulties due to his sexuality, mainly in the 70's and 80's and we know that he would do anything to support anyone in a similar situation. Thank you on behalf of Tim and his friends for all your hard work in trying to make the world a better place for the LGBTQ+ community.
