REVIVAL, ONE FAMILY AT A TIME

Over the years we have been blessed to receive countless messages like these from moms and dads (and even some kids) who have been impacted through the Schoolhouse Rocked ministry. We recognize that it's not because of anything special in us, but because of God's great power. And, it's all for His glory! 

We also understand that this ministry isn't just about today's homeschoolers. It's about REVIVAL. As parents are pouring God's truth into their children it is making a generational impact and preparing many hearts for ETERNITY! And we're going to keep up this work as the Lord allows us to.

2025 MINISTRY NEEDS

There is still much work to do, and we can't do it without your help. We have been working on several really exciting things for the new year, and we have some a few immediate financial needs in order to continue this important work.

Non-Profit Formation:

Since forming the Schoolhouse Rocked Ministry in 2016, a significant portion of the work we have done has been supported by donations from the homeschool community. In that time, we have had to rely on fiscal sponsors and other commercial services to enable donors to give, and for much of that time donations have not been tax-deductible. 

In order to provide donors with the ability to deduct their gifts, we plan to form a non-profit in the coming year. This will also allow us to enter new areas of ministry and reach more homeschooling families, including by establishing a homeschool scholarship fund to provide assistance to families who need assistance in purchasing curriculum and supplies.

The estimated up-front cost for formation of the non-profit and establishing the accounting and administration systems is $3,000 in 2025.

Technology and Infrastructure Updates:

With the ministry now eight years old, we have reached a point where some of the main technology that we have been relying on in need of replacement. Much of the Schoolhouse Rocked Ministry is web-based, and we have been working on an aging hosting system, which is becoming increasingly inefficient and expensive to maintain. In the coming months we will be migrating several individual websites to a new unified host and redesigning them to make our web experience faster and easier to navigate. The estimated cost for hosting, migration, and design services in 2025 is $2,500.

Studio and Office Updates:

As with the website, some of the critical equipment we use around the studio and office is in need of replacement, including a teleprompter and camera support equipment, and laptop. The estimated cost for studio and office updates and maintenance in 2025 is $3,500.

Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast:

2025 will mark the 8th season of the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast. The new year will bring a few exciting changes for the show. In addition to Yvette Hampton and Aby Rinella, we are excited to be adding a few new hosts, including Meeke Addison, Kristi Clover, and Cindy West – all godly veteran homeschool moms, podcasters, and speakers.

Your support will allow us to grow the reach of the show, expand to new platforms, and to continue to share the Biblical homeschooling, parenting, and family discipleship encouragement, which has been a blessing to countless families around the world. While some of the costs of producing the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast are covered by sponsors, each year there are uncovered expenses, which must be covered through donations. The estimated uncovered expenses for the first quarter of 2025 are $7,000.

Biblical Family Network:

Your donations allow the Biblical Family Network to support and encourage Christian families, by providing the very best podcasts on faith, discipleship, marriage, parenting, worldview, culture, and education, all from a Biblical perspective.

In addition to the shows the network currently hosts, we plan to add new podcasts as God allows, to provide a rich and well-curated library of content for Christian families. Additionally, the Biblical Family Network will invest in the kingdom by producing new original content and by assisting other Christian content creators to produce high-quality media that will build up families and bring glory to a worthy God.

New Courses and Free Resources:

In order to better serve the homeschool community, we have several new courses, and free resources planned for the new year. The redesigned and updated website will enable us to present them in an easy to navigate way, and your generous donations will provide for their production.

2024 MINISTRY RECAP

2024 was a busy year, with the launch of the Thinking Dad Podcast and the Biblical Family Network, in addition to producing special features on school choice and affordable homeschooling, and releasing our Homeschooling Through the Years series on the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast.

With your help, here are some of the ways we have been able to serve the homeschool community over the past several months.

On the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast, we published the Homeschool Survival Series in 2022 and 2023, the Biblical Family Series in 2023, and the Homeschooling Through the Years Series in 2024. Additionally, we released specials on school choice and affordable homeschooling in 2024. 

The show now boasts more than 850 episodes and typically receives more than 60,000 downloads and video views each month, in addition to live radio rebroadcasts several times a week.

Since Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution has been available for FREE streaming, thousands of families have watched the film at home, in homeschool co-ops, at conferences, and at churches. Additionally, thousands more have downloaded the free Homeschool Survival Kit. 

Thinking Dad and Biblical Family Network launched in 2024!

In May, we launched a NEW PODCAST just for dads!

The Thinking Dad Podcast equips men to think Biblically about family, faith, business, and culture. Hosted by Garritt Hampton, each show features the insights of Christian leaders who inspire and challenge men to lead well, live a life of eternal significance, and leave a worthy legacy.

OVER 1,000,000 VIEWS and Now on Answers.TV!

Since the show launched we have had over 1,000,000 video views across platforms and we are expecting to break the 2,000,000 view mark before the end of the first season!

Now, we're very excited to partner with Answers in Genesis to bring the Thinking Dad to their streaming audience on Answers.TV!

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY...

We also launched a new Christian podcast network in May! The Biblical Family Network is bringing together a group of shows focused on family discipleship, Biblical worldview, and Christian living, including the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast, the Thinking Dad, Culture Proof, Made2Homeschool, and Homeschool Insights - with more to come soon. This new platform gives us the ability to invest in new, Kingdom-focused content from a growing family of likeminded creators. We look forward to seeing God use the Biblical Family Network to build up the Kingdom for generations! Will you partner with us in this new ministry?
