Support SCC Youth Programs!

Join us in celebrating great wine and great causes! Donate to be eligible for 2 Weekend Passes to the Durango Wine Experience while helping Southwest Conservation Corps (SCC) provide life-changing opportunities for youth in our community. 

Every donation helps fund SCC’s youth conservation programs, which provide hands-on job training, environmental education, and outdoor experiences for young people ages 11-18. We’re raising $5,000 to support SCC’s Middle School Service-Learning Program, a free-of-cost program that removes barriers to participation, including transportation. This program is one of the few available for 11-13-year-olds in our community and serves as a stepping stone for youth to explore conservation careers and develop leadership skills.

About SCC Youth Programs

SCC’s youth programs place middle and high school students in conservation-based service programs, including:
🌿 Middle School Service-Learning Crew – A volunteer opportunity introducing 11-13-year-olds to conservation work and leadership.
🌄 Paid High School Crews – Day and camping crews for ages 14-18, plus backcountry and Indigenous Youth Crews.
🎯 Career Pathway Opportunities – Alumni can serve on advisory councils, return as crew leaders, or gain employment with land management agencies.

These programs build confidence, resilience, and teamwork, all while benefiting our public lands and local communities.
