Support Ravenswood Students
Partnering with Ravenswood for Educational Equity
With the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in missed instructional time and distance learning, demand for ASM’s tutoring has spiked. Our small and mighty organization of dedicated volunteers is rapidly responding with new and expanded programs.
Financial support is needed more than ever to ensure ASM can meet the surge in demand and reach more struggling students. This year, our Executive Director and Program Director are especially critical to our success as we create and implement new programs to offer virtual tutoring during Zoom class time, after school and expand for the first time into middle school. It's a year of tremendous change and we are busier than ever.
Our over 200 volunteers are dedicated to tutoring and mentoring students each week using the teacher’s curriculum at no cost to the school district or families. We are working virtually to reach students who don’t have learning pods or private tutors.
We welcome donations from everyone who shares our passion for educational equity. Donations we receive will support our expanded efforts with Ravenswood TK-8th grade students while they are distance learning and when in-person school returns, additional tutoring will be a critical strategy to help make up for lost classroom time.
We invite you to join us in supporting the students in the Ravenswood School District!
