Thanks for sharing these short stories to enlighten others about how poorly blacks were treated, and often continue to be treated. I was especially frustrated to read about John Casor, and how servitude became slavery because of a terrible legal decision. A Voluntary contract became involuntary, perpetual slavery.

My partner and I are proud to be PushBlack supporters, especially now when the GOP and right-wing extremists are trying to supress history and the truthful telling of it. Please join us in supporting this awesome organization if you are able - every dime and dollar helps!
