Support My Cause UK
WE NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER BEFORE!
In just 5 years we have taken over 10,000 volunteers to the festivals you love, and we've raised £150,000 for almost 1,000 charities you love...
And we know with your help we can achieve so much more!
The sad truth is that with many of our festival clients already canceling events this summer, and uncertainty as to how many more may still have to cancel - our traded income has been reduced almost to zero.
With no money coming in, the reality is that the My Cause UK you know and love may not be here for much longer.
Would you consider a donation to help us survive the current crisis?
As a small not for profit social enterprise, My Cause UK receives no funding or support from donors, investors, the government, charity partners or funding organisations.
All the money that keeps our office open, team employed, and volunteers safe on-site comes from the fees we receive from our festival partners for the time you give. With high levels of uncertainty, the Covid-19 crisis causing many events to cancel and as a result our income has fallen to near zero, threatening our ability to cover our basic overheads and continue to provide our services.
Our amazing team is fully committed to the survival of our organisation, and we have done everything we can to scale back our operations, reducing our costs in all areas but there is still a real threat that we do not have enough funds to get through these challenging times.
By supporting us with a donation, you will be helping us cover our core business costs- rent, bills, staff and volunteer costs to help ensure we are able to continue providing our volunteering services at festivals across the UK, while continuing to fund the charities you nominate.
We are still hopeful the events scheduled for later this summer will go ahead as planned and are still hard at work to ensure our team is ready to welcome our Hi-Vis Heroes to a sunny field this summer however we are planning for all eventualities and your support now, will provide us a lifeline to survive a potential summer with no festivals, and be ready to provide you with as many opportunities as possible for summer 2021.
