Support Jalal & His Family in Their Time of Need

A Message from Jalal in Gaza 

As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

My name is Jalal, your brother from Gaza. After our home in Rafah was destroyed, my family and I, six of us,  were displaced and now live in my aunt’s house in Deir al-Balah. I am the only one trying to provide for them.

We lost not just our home, but 21 members of my family and 9 of my close friends. My father and I survived two near-death experiences. I now have a serious shoulder injury that requires surgery, but medical care here is unavailable.

My father is in pain from back and neck problems, and my mother, who suffers from asthma, can’t breathe properly due to the dust and bombing. Both are without medication.

My 12-year-old brother Adam is malnourished and too weak to play. My sisters Nagham (21) and Aya (17) are also suffering from malnutrition and illness, with little access to the treatment they need.

We are living in famine, and I struggle each day to find food and water. It’s heartbreaking to watch my family suffer. That’s why I’m reaching out to you.
