As an independent media outlet operating in exile, Radio Tamazuj is one of the few remaining sources of fact-based information for South Sudan. Since 2011, we have been a lifeline for millions, broadcasting in English, Classical Arabic, and Juba Arabic to reach even the most remote communities.
In 2024 alone, we produced 366 hours of radio programming and published nearly 1,800 news articles and features. Our shortwave broadcasts and online platforms have become a trusted reference for South Sudanese citizens, internally displaced persons, refugees, the diaspora, and even the international community. We are the only media initiative providing daily news in South Sudanese Arabic, seven days a week, to those with limited or no internet access.
But we cannot do this alone. Radio Tamazuj relies entirely on donor funding to continue its mission of delivering independent, reliable news to those who need it most. Your support ensures that we can keep empowering vulnerable communities with the information they need to make informed decisions—and, in many cases, to survive.
