Please support Gladis Yolanda Chavez Pineda – A Mother, Grandmother & Community Leader who was unjustly detained during a routine ICE/ ISAP check-in on June 4, 2025.  Gladis Yolanda is a breadwinner and income source for her family, including a daughter who is a minor finishing up her 3rd year in high school. 

All funds collected on this page will be 100% given to Gladis and her family and will be used to pay for housing, healthcare, food, and other necessities. 

It is with deep sadness and disappointment that we share the devastating news that Gladis, the courageous mother, grandmother and community member we have all been fighting for, was deported earlier this week.


Despite the immense public support, legal advocacy, and tireless organizing on her behalf, the government proceeded with her removal. This decision has torn a loving mother from her family, it is a stark reminder of the cruelty and inhumanity embedded in our current immigration system.


Gladis’s story has touched thousands—her strength, dignity, and determination inspired many to speak out. Her deportation is not the end of the fight! We will continue to uplift her story, advocate for her return, and push for lasting systemic change so that no family has to endure displacement from our communities.
