Emily faced cervical cancer with extraordinary strength. Her experience inspired us to look more closely at how we can improve awareness, expand access to trusted information and timely testing, and help prevent cervical cancer and all HPV-associated cancers.
We built ForEm because we refuse to let Emily’s story end with what happened to her.
Our first fundraising commitment is the Emily Depke Butterfly Memorial at Murray State University’s Doran Arboretum. Before ForEm raises a single dollar for our broader mission, we’re going to build this permanent tribute to Emily and the life she lived — a beautiful, peaceful space where our community can gather, reflect, and remember those we’ve lost far too soon.
From there, your support will help ForEm grow our work in cervical cancer elimination and HPV cancer prevention, education and advocacy — connecting people with trusted information, collaborating with those already leading this work, and helping where we can make a meaningful difference.
Our goal is $20,000. Every donation to this campaign is dedicated to bringing Emily’s memorial to life.
