Support Food Access on the North Coast!

The North Coast Growers’ Association (NCGA) supports Humboldt County’s farmers and artisan producers in building a robust and resilient local food system.

NCGA operates three key programs: Farmers' Markets, the Harvest Hub, and Agricultural Programs.

  • NCGA's Farmers' Markets connect our farmers to our community, allowing our small farmers to sell directly to consumers. We operate nine markets across Humboldt County, offering vibrant community spaces that uplift local farmers. Through our partnerships with nutrition assistance programs like CalFresh, Market Match, WIC, the WIC and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Programs, and Open Door, we promote food access to families in Humboldt County.

  • Our Harvest Hub program connects local produce to schools, Tribes, food banks, and restaurants. By providing wholesale market opportunities for local farmers and ranchers we help create a more resilient food system for the North Coast. Through the Harvest Box program, our multi-farm CSA for individuals and households, we deliver fresh local food directly to our customer's homes. Our values-based procurement principles ensure that healthy, local food reaches more tables in our community while significantly increasing income for local farmers

  • NCGA's Agricultural Programs address the most critical needs of our regional farmers and ranchers. Our goal is to build a more resilient food production system by helping small family farmers access vital agricultural resources. Our programming includes many technical assistance and business development opportunities for our agricultural community. We cultivate meaningful partnerships with key organizations including local Tribes, state and national agencies, and other non-profit organizations. These important partnerships expand opportunities for accessible skill-building, networking, and financial development for farmers and ranchers on the North Coast.

We appreciate your contribution to a resilient food system in Humboldt County!
