UPDATE 5/18/2026

We are incredibly happy to share that Olivia is finally back home and reunited with her family here in Maine.

After six long months of detention, fear, court hearings, legal battles, and uncertainty, this family is finally together again.

To every single person who donated, advocated, shared posts, contacted officials, organized, and stood beside this family throughout this journey: thank you. This victory belongs to all of you.

Together, our community raised over $25,000 for Olivia and her family. Because of your support, we were able to secure safe and stable housing for the family by covering six months of rent and the security deposit totaling $15,400 after their release from ICE detention.

We will also continue covering additional legal fees as the family navigates the next stages of their case.

What we do:

This is exactly why our work matters.

Over the past year, we have hired attorneys for immigrants facing detention and deportation, reunited families torn apart by ICE, helped stop deportations, prevented evictions, secured emergency shelter for vulnerable community members, and supported families through some of the most terrifying moments of their lives.

We have helped parents return home to their children.

We have fought for people trapped in detention centers.

We have supported families left behind with rent, groceries, transportation, baby supplies, emergency housing, and legal support.

This fundraiser is part of our community support fund for families impacted by ICE detention and deportation efforts.

And this crisis is far from over.

Every single week, we continue receiving calls from terrified families whose loved ones have been detained, families facing eviction after losing income, individuals sleeping in unsafe conditions after being targeted, and parents struggling to survive while navigating impossible circumstances.

This fundraiser will continue helping immigrant families throughout this crisis by providing:

• Legal support and attorney fees

• Bond assistance to help reunite families

• Emergency housing and shelter

• Rent and eviction prevention support

• Groceries, transportation, and essential supplies

• Community support for families facing ICE detention and deportation

This is community-funded, community-led mutual aid rooted in solidarity and love.

Since March 2025, thousands of people have supported this work. Together, more than 10,000 donations have raised over $600,000 directly for legal defense and urgent community needs.

Every donation helps keep families safe, supported, and together.

We show up because we know what it means to be abandoned, targeted, and forgotten.

We believe immigrant families deserve dignity, safety, and the chance to live without fear.

This is mutual aid.
This is community.
This is resistance.
This is love.

Thank you for continuing to stand with immigrant families and with us.

Please consider becoming a monthly donor to help sustain this work.
