The Interfaith Center at Miami University (TIC) is providing a platform for our friends at Ecopeace Teen Café to raise funds for their amazing work to address environmental crises and themes of social concerns. Learn more about them below!
Ecopeace Teen Café was founded in 2021 to change that.
We are a global dialogue and learning platform that equips teenagers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become leaders for peace, climate action, and social justice. Through interactive online conversations, mentorship, storytelling, and community action, we help young people transform concern into meaningful action.
Since our founding, we have engaged young people from Asia, Latin America, Europe and across Africa, creating an inclusive community where participants from diverse cultures, backgrounds, genders, and faiths learn together and from internationally recognized experts.
Our work is guided by the Earth Charter, a globally recognized ethical framework for building just, sustainable, and peaceful societies. Every dialogue encourages participants to care for one another, respect nature, think critically, and become changemakers within their own communities.
What We Do
Throughout the year, Ecopeace Teen Café provides:
- Interactive online dialogues with international experts
- Climate and peace education workshops
- Storytelling and leadership sessions
- Mentorship for youth-led initiatives
- Resources to support local action projects
- Opportunities for young people to write, reflect, and share their voices
- A global community where teenagers learn from one another across cultures
Participants leave with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and the confidence to take action in their schools, families, and communities.
