Eastside Cafe is an autonomous, local, community space inspired by the Zapatista movement and on the ground, Los Angeles movements for economic and social justice.


We were co-founded by residents of North East Los Angeles community in 2002 who aligned with Mayan indigenous values and their direct actions confronting capitalism.


Support us by donating towards our rent that goes towards community ownership of land and our ability to self-determine our destinies.
