Goal
Dr. Ricardo Henri is a young physician based out of Haiti, and has been doing his social residency work at the Alma Mater Hospital in Gros-Morne, a small village in Haiti. Many of our volunteers have had the privilege of teaching and working alongside Ricardo this fall, and have witnessed his remarkable progress in AtriaConnect's ultrasound training program. Starting from almost no knowledge in diagnostic ultrasound, Ricardo has worked extremely hard and practiced countless hours to become an ultrasound expert, vastly improving the quality of care he is able to deliver to his patients.
Ricardo's two-year social residency work concludes December 2018, but we know that the Alma Mater Hospital can benefit from having Ricardo stay a few more months and continue to serve their patients. During this time, Ricardo will also be able to continue teaching his fellow colleagues on the use of ultrasound to extend our impact in Haiti for many years to come.
We are asking our donors to consider supporting Ricardo and his continued to work with Alma Mater Hospital, which he is currently doing pro bono. Your support will help Dr. Henri provide continued assistance and teaching without worrying about the financial concerns that come with his volunteerism. 100% of your proceeds go directly to supporting Ricardo.
Our goal is to currently support Ricardo until November 2019 with a stipend of $500 per month. This will help sufficiently cover his transportation, living, and food costs. If just 20 people were to donate $25 every month, we would be able to reach our goal. Thank you for your support!
