ABOUT US
The Cancer Education Project (CEP) Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity organization dedicated to reducing the burden of cancers in underserved communities. CEP Inc. operates with transparency and commitment, focusing its efforts on underserved communities where limited resources and awareness leave many vulnerable to preventable and treatable cancers.
OUR MISSION
Empower communities with knowledge and resources to reduce the burden of cancers through awareness, early detection, treatment, and care support. CEP Inc. bridges the gap between knowledge and actions, aiming to reduce cancer-related deaths and build healthier, more informed communities in South Sudan.
OUR ACTIONS
Community awareness for men, women, and girls
Organize and facilitate community education sessions on prevention, early detection, and care for cancers and common ailments.
Continued medical education for frontline care workers and equip facilities
Provide tailored medication education and basic equipment to health facilities to improve client care and reduce disability and deaths.
Educate church leaders on healthy living, cancer prevention, early recognition, and care-seeking
As vanguards of communities and influencers, provide health promotion sessions with and through church leaders.
Develop and distribute informational materials in communities, health facilities, and churches
Develop print materials in relevant local languages and distribute them in communities to increase awareness of healthy living and available services.
Broadcast and awareness through media houses (radio and TV)
