Support Black Girls CODE

Black Girls CODE builds pathways for Black girls to embrace the current tech

marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer

programming and technology. Radical action is needed if we are to close the opportunity gap for Black women and girls. We lead a global movement to establish equal representation in the tech sector. Black Girls CODE is devoted to showing the world that Black girls can code and do so much more. Together, we are creating stronger economies and more equitable societies—ultimately realizing the true potential of democracy through

diversity and inclusion.

I love this program, it’s so awesome seeing young black women gaining knowledge in a realm where there aren’t too many that look like them. Can’t wait to see the next gaming developer or software CEO come from this organization!

The Starry Studio

Started a new business @the.starrystudio where I make clay earrings. My first series release was in honor of the BLM movement, and all the support I got was to help donate money to Black Girls Code. Thank you for all you do! 🙌🏽

CompSci is in desperate need of more diverse voices; data may be neutral, but what we do with it never is. The more--and more different--viewpoints we have fielding the questions of the tech world, the better answers we'll get. Y'all are the future. We're rooting for you!
