As an engineering student here in SoCal, I’ve noticed the lack of diversity. I am the only African American in all of my classes and there are only a few women. I would love to see more African American girls pursuing engineering or STEM-related fields. I’ve never donated to any cause before, but this hits close to home. I hope to get my daughter involved in a program like this when she’s old enough. Blessings.
