Support Black Girls CODE

Black Girls CODE builds pathways for Black girls to embrace the current tech

marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer

programming and technology. Radical action is needed if we are to close the opportunity gap for Black women and girls. We lead a global movement to establish equal representation in the tech sector. Black Girls CODE is devoted to showing the world that Black girls can code and do so much more. Together, we are creating stronger economies and more equitable societies—ultimately realizing the true potential of democracy through

diversity and inclusion.

You work is very valuable. Tech has remained biased and unethical for far too long. If tech is gonna be built for people like us, as it likes to think it is, it needs to be built *by* people like us

Thank you so much for your amazing work. I've volunteered at a coding day in the past and it was so inspiring, with such an amazing group of girls and volunteers. Excited to see how your events have transformed online!

Thank you so much for creating this organization in support of young women of color engineers. As a WOC engineer myself, it is important to see our representation grow in the tech industry. I held a donation based fitness class with all proceeds going to Black Girls Code - keep doing what you’re doing!
