As many of you already know, we had to say goodbye to our beloved cow cat Glow January 1st, 2024 after just over a year with him. He was a constant source of joy and light during an otherwise difficult year, so very true to his name. He had so many people who loved him and appreciated his ridiculous antics beyond his immediate humans. We’re all still learning how to function with him gone. 

Glow’s story is not unique- there’s no shortage of cats and kittens that need help and deserve the same shot at life as he got. None of what he had would be possible without his rescuer, Maggie at Bay Ridge Kittens. Bay Ridge Kittens is a tiny volunteer rescue improving the lives of Brooklyn street cats and kittens through TNR (trap-neuter-return), fostering and adoption. We specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating critically ill or underage neonatal kittens with the goal of finding them suitable forever homes. In cooperation with other local groups, we practice TNR in our neighborhood to end the cycle of homeless cats and their kittens who struggle to survive outdoors.
