Alcheringa Sanctuary is a vegan animal sanctuary in the north west of Ireland.
At Alcheringa Sanctuary we recognise that all animals have the right to live a happy life without exploitation by humans.
We provide a forever home to neglected, discarded or abused animals and give them the care, respect and freedom to live out their lives as they wish within a safe and loving environment.
Currently our family includes sheep, hens, donkeys, rabbits, cats and 2 humans.
On our 18 acre property, we also endeavour to create a natural environment which supports the wild animals in our area. As a result, we are also home to many foxes, badgers, deer, hares, pine martens, red squirrels, rabbits, frogs, wild birds and other species who share this space with us.
With your support, we can continue to care for these animals. A donation of just €1 per week will help us cover the costs of feed, bedding and veterinary care for all our residents.
