When Alabama Forward introduced text banking to reach neighbors in Mobile, Leevones Fisher was initially hesitant. She had never done a text bank before, and wasn’t sure she would be able to execute it properly, but the ALF team stayed by her side every step of the way. 

By the end of the night, the apprehensiveness was gone, replaced by joy and enthusiasm. As Mrs. Fisher put it: “ I actually enjoyed it! I learned something different, and best of all, we were able to reach out to 6,000 registered voters who live in my community… WOW!”.

This is the ecosystem of change in action. When you give, you aren’t just funding a project: you are fueling the confidence and skills of local leaders like Mrs. Fisher so they can better serve their neighbors.
