Rainbow Parrot Rescue Florida, "Sun, Shade, & Spray Campaign!" -- 2026

For the past 6 years, our outdoor aviary has been a place of sunshine, healing, and freedom for so many of our rescued parrots here at Rainbow Parrot Rescue Florida. It’s where they feel the breeze, hear the sounds of nature, and begin to truly experience life beyond a cage. This aviaryhas provided our flock with so much more than just space — it’s been a place for enrichment, exercise, sunshine, rehabilitation, and simply, pure joy. Watching our parrots climb, fly, splash, and truly be birds has been one of the most important parts of our rescue and rehabilitation program!! 💚

This aviary isn’t just a structure… it’s the heart of what we do.

But, living near the ocean comes with a cost.

The salty sea air—while beautiful—has slowly taken a toll on our aviary. Over time, the metal has begun to rust and weaken, and after a few harsh winters, it’s clear that repairs are no longer enough. For the safety of our birds, it’s time to replace it.

Our goal is to build a brand-new, safe, and enriching outdoor space allowing our flock to continue to thrive. While many of our current toys are still in good condition, many still need refreshing, too!
