Please consider donating to 180 Skate so they can continue doing great things for our local skateboarding community!
When we moved to Florida a few years ago, Camden was having a hard time being away from all of his family & friends. He started kindergarten at a new school midway through the year. If you know Camden, you know he is VERY physically active & full of energy. He struggled with sitting still during the school day. He felt like he was constantly in trouble. We decided to switch to homeschooling so he could move his body as much as he needed to. We started focusing on his personal strengths & interests, but his confidence was still suffering. Then we found 180 Skate & everything changed! Camden truly found a place to belong. Tim & his crew helped Cam focus his energy through skateboarding. They were positive, patient, & kind. He made friends in a safe, supportive environment. 180 Skate loaned him a helmet & skateboard until he got his own. Camden’s confidence flourished! Even when Cam became more interested in scootering, 180 Skate continued to support him. They helped us build an awesome backyard mini ramp so he could take his scootering to the next level. Our favorite thing about 180 Skate is that it has taught Camden the importance of giving back to the community. When he first started skateboarding, he was only interested in improving his own skills. Now he enjoys volunteering, teaching other kids how to skate. Now it’s your turn to help spread the love by donating to 180 Skate. We are so grateful for your donations. No amount is too small. Every dollar adds up! As the summer begins, we would like to raise funds for our upcoming summer camps, programs, and events in 2025. In the fall, we will be having programs every day of the week at skate parks, schools, and 180 Skate House. We hope to provide students with new ramps and gear so they are able to learn safely and efficiently. As we continue to grow as a nonprofit, we are planning to add new members to our staff & coaching team. Our ultimate goal is to have a vehicle to provide transportation to students and our own building to have additional programs and events at. No matter how much you are able to give, we appreciate your support.
Thank you!
