Sue Taei Ocean Fellowship

For Indigenous women of the Pacific

Sue Taei was a force of nature who dedicated her life and career to protecting nature and the Pacific island communities she loved.  Sue deeply understood that guardianship by Pacific Islanders is essential to the well-being of the Pacific and the planet. Sue demonstrated the impact one woman can make when provided the opportunity to unleash her unique vision and talent.

Please help us honour Sueʻs deep legacy by supporting the dreams and talents of other Indigenous women from the Pacific through this unique Fellowship opportunity. With your support we can provide access to professional and educational opportunities scarcely available to Indigenous women to elevate their role in tackling the some of the most pressing issues facing Pacific Island communities.

As the administrating organisation for the Sue Taei Ocean Fellowship, contributions will be donated through Conservation International. Please be assured that every dollar will go directly to supporting the Fellows as they take their dreams forward and make a difference in their communities and the Pacific through ocean conservation.
