Storybook's Reboot Campaign

I am honored to have been a part of the Storybook Theatre family for years and am even more honored to be a part of the team leading it now! I have seen Storybook Theatre change the lives of its students giving them a place where they feel they truly belong, often for the first time. As someone who has been working with and witnessing the work of the students at Cottage Grove High School and Lincoln Middle School this last year, I can honestly say that arts education is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Coming back to in school learning has been an uphill battle for students, teachers, and guardians alike, but that has made the opportunity for students to shine on stage even brighter and has made the joy experienced by those families and educators in the audience even stronger. We want to keep bringing that sense of empowerment and belonging to the students of this community and keep bringing more joy to the audiences who come to watch them, but in order to do that we need your help. Your donation, no matter the size, is hugely impactful. It means that students who want and need arts education, but cannot afford it, will get it. It means our educators who work tirelessly for our students will get paid a small stipend for their work and it means we can bring you some beautiful shows this summer!
