Stevenson... “T-Jackson,” or “TJ” as the kids call him, is the son of Miss Ketley, one of our devoted full-time caretakers. He has called Emmanuel his home for many years, and his presence truly enriches our family.
TJ has a heartfelt passion for music, especially playing the guitar. Each evening, he gathers with a few of the older boys to play worship music during devotions, filling the space with melodies of praise and worship that uplift everyone’s spirits. His talent has even earned him a spot in the church band, where he shares his love for music with the congregation and helps lead others in worship.
In addition to his musical gifts, TJ is a diligent worker who approaches every task with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. During his free time, he finds joy in playing music, engaging in soccer with his friends, drawing, and building creative projects. His inventive nature and love for exploration make him a well-rounded young man.
TJ also has a deep passion for soccer, which has become a significant part of his life. He plays on the school soccer team, where his skills and teamwork have shone brightly. His dedication to the sport has contributed to the team’s success, helping them clinch several championships.
Unfortunately, TJ faced a setback this past school year and was unable to pass three of his classes. This year, he will be retaking those courses as part of his NS4 grade. We are praying that, with perseverance and God’s guidance, he will successfully complete this chapter and move forward toward graduation and university. We continue to remind him to lean on his faith and trust that God is in control, even in this detour.
Your monthly sponsorship will go entirely toward supporting his needs as he begins this new chapter in college. We’ve budgeted $100 each month to help cover his food expenses, but we know there will be additional costs ahead—including tuition, textbooks, and other essentials. We are praying for a strong and steady support system around him as he pursues his education and steps into adulthood with hope and determination.
