Stervenson has come full circle — from once being the oldest boy at the orphanage to now serving as a core staff member at Emmanuel. He is deeply woven into the daily life and operations of the home, and the role he plays is nothing short of essential.

What’s remarkable is that, alongside his full-time commitment to Emmanuel, Stervenson also single-handedly manages the internet business that Frankie built in Haiti. He provides technical support to customers, handles installations, and often travels to nearby towns to keep the service running — all on his own. It’s a demanding job, yet somehow he manages to balance both roles with grace and reliability.

At Emmanuel, Stervenson wears countless hats. Whether it’s troubleshooting equipment, managing food supply deliveries, checking off to-do lists, or capturing beautiful photos and videos of the children for us — he’s always ready to jump in wherever he’s needed. He brings order, calm, and an “I’ll handle it” spirit that keeps everything moving forward behind the scenes.

Beyond the tasks, it’s the way he shows up that sets him apart. He’s kind, dependable, and deeply trusted. The children adore him — especially the younger boys who look up to him not just as a mentor, but as living proof of what’s possible with hard work and faith.

Though he never attended university or trade school, Stervenson has gained an incredible array of skills by working closely with missionaries over the years. From car repair and electrical work to solar power systems and plumbing, he’s always learning — and always applying that knowledge to improve life for others.

Stervenson is family. We truly cannot imagine Emmanuel without him. He inspires us daily with his work ethic, his heart, and his quiet leadership.
