Goal

Prof. Chris Orban and Dr. Richelle Teeling-Smith trained dozens of high school physics and physical science teachers to use STEMcoding activities in their classrooms since the STEMcoding Project began in 2017.

This fund raiser is to help teachers who use STEMcoding activities and who would like to present at the summer meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) in Grand Rapids, Michigan July 9-13 and/or the virtual component of the meeting on July 8 which has a significant registration fee

There are teachers who use STEMcoding activities in multiple US states. Any of these teachers who would like to present at the meeting (in person or virtual) are welcome to request financial assistance.

Your donation will go to a non-profit called STEMcoding Education Ohio which was founded by Prof. Chris Orban and Dr. Richelle Teeling-Smith in 2020. The non-profit received 501c3 status in 2021 so your donation will be tax exempt. The non-profit will not take any of your donation as overhead.

At the present time we are incorporated as a non-profit organization in Ohio called STEMcoding Education Ohio. We do not yet have federal 501c3 tax-exempt status and so unfortunately your donation is not tax exempt. Our organization is listed on the Ohio Secretary of State's website at this link: https://businesssearch.ohiosos.gov/?=businessDetails/4495097
