The Starwood Cares Employee Relief Fund was created to help employees of Starwood Capital and it’s affiliates who are facing hardship immediately after a natural disaster or unforeseen personal hardship. No one believes in the Starwood families abilities more than our founder and CEO, Barry Sternlicht who personally founded this fund with a grant of $1M. Knowing the power and importance of community, Barry is matching another $500,000 in donations. Every contribution helps and when combined with the donations of others, can provide the help a fellow employee needs when they are facing the unexpected.
