Barbarians Stair-a-thon 2024

The Stair Masters are a bunch of middle-aged sorta-fit friends who are wearing weight vests for their hour on the stairs. The weight vests symbolise the invisible mental load that many people carry around on their shoulders every day. 

Everybody is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

About the Barbarians Stairathon

The Barbarians annual Stairathon is back again, this time we're going bigger and better than ever! 

Over TWO DAYS, we have teams climbing the stairs from sunrise to sunset (6am-6pm) for mental well-being and suicide prevention. 

This event will be raising funds to support our initiatives focussing on men's mental health, youth mental health and supporting our rural areas. 

From 6am to 6pm on both Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April, we will have teams running the stairs at Stirling Bridge in East Fremantle (bottom of stairs is on Riverside Road, near the Left Bank; top of stairs is corner of Canning Highway and Stirling Bridge, opposite the Tradewinds).

A new team of 6 sets off every hour for one hour. Please donate to our worthy cause - whether it be sponsoring us per lap completed or a single donation for our weary legs - every little bit helps!

Together, as a community, we can move mountains.
