This is BIG news. And I don't often say that, but it's true. This is our biggest building project to date.
Some of you may know that two years ago, Nagarjuna KMC relocated to Thornby Hall. And what a place! A truly majestic and awe-inspiring building, a perfect setting for a meditation centre.
A building dedicated to world peace. A place where everyone is welcome. Where everyone is supported along their journey to inner peace through the practice of meditation.
Now, more than ever people need meditation to cope with the stress of modern living. Here at Nagarjuna KMC, you can attend a range of different courses and retreats that offer you a complete break from the busyness of daily life.
Each month our retreats are fully booked. We never like to turn people away and that's why I'm so passionate about this special building project. As I said, our biggest project yet!
That's why I've taken a proactive approach. We are currently converting the existing 13 classrooms that form the stable block into 15 en-suite retreat rooms and a shared kitchen.
Work has already started through the kindness of our community volunteers. But we have a way to go...
As a charity, we rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of people like you. We need to raise £50,000 for the refurbishment of the stable block.
Our goal is to have the new retreat facilities ready by February 2020.
But we can't do it without your help.
I understand that everyone has different circumstances and that's why there are a number of ways to help. Every donation is appreciated.
