በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ አሐዱ አምላክ አሜን። 

“እኔ ከዝግባ ሳንቃ በተሠራ ባማረ ቤት ተቀምጬአለሁ፥ የእግዚአብሔር የቃል ኪዳን ታቦት ግን ባረጀ ድንኳን ውስጥ ተቀምጧል ተነሥቼ ለአምላኬ ቤት እሠራለሁ” 2 ሳሙኤል 6፥11

በመላው ዓለም ለምትገኙ ምዕመናን በሙሉ ፤  ሰላመ እግዚአብሔር ከእናንተ ጋር ይሁን! 

በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤ/ክ በደቡብ ኮሪያ የምትገኘው የኆኅተ ብርሃን ቅ/ማርያም ቤተ ክርስቲያን በኮርያና በአካባቢው አገራት መንፈሳዊ አገልግሎት እየሰጠች የምትገኝ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ነች። ቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ አገልግሎቱን በኪራይ ቤት እየሰጠች የነበረ ሲሆን ባለፈው ዓመት ሐምሌና ነሐሴ ወር የጣለው ከፍተኛ ዝናብ ምክንያት በመገልገያ ቦታው ላይ የውኃ መጥለቅለቅ አስከትሏል። ጎርፉ ብዙ ንዋየ ቅዱሳትና መገልገያ ንብረቶችን ከማበላሸቱ በተጨማሪ የቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ አገልግሎት ለወራት ያክል እንዲቋረጥ ምክንያት ሆኖ ቆይቷል። የዝናቡ ወቅት ካለፈ በኋላም በቦታው ላይ ጥገና በማድረግ አገልግሎቱን ዳግም ለማስጀመር ጥረት የተደረገ ቢሆንም ቦታው ግን በመሠረታዊነት ለታቦተ ሕጉ ማረፊያነት የማይመጥን ከመሆኑም በላይ በመጪው ክረምት የውኃ መጥለቅለቁ ዳግም እንዳይከሰት በቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ምእመናን ላይ ከፍተኛ ስጋት አሳድሯል።  

በመሆኑም ቅዱስ ዳዊት ታቦተ ጽዮን የምታድርበትን ቤተ መቅደስ ለመሥራት እንደ ተነሣ ፣ የቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ምእመናን ችግሩን በዘላቂነት ለመፍታት ፣ እንደ እግዚአብሔር መልካም ፈቃድ ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን የራሷ የሆነ መገልገያ ቦታ ወይም ህንፃ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ሊኖራት ያስፈልጋል በሚል በጎ ተነሳሽነት ገንዘብ እያሰባሰብን እንገኛለን። ሆኖም ዐቅማችን በፈቀደ ገንዘቡን ብናሰባስብም ቁጥራችን አናሳ በመሆኑ ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን የራሷ መገልገያ ቦታ እንዲኖራት የሚያስፈልገው የገንዘብ መጠን ከዐቅማችን በላይ ሆኖብናል። በመሠረቱ እንደ እግዚአብሔር ፍቃድ የዚህች ቤተ ክርስቲያን በእግሯ መቆምና መጠናከር ለወደፊቱ በሩቅ ምሥራቅ ለሚሠሩ አብያት ክርስቲያናት የመሠረት ድንጋይ የማስቀመጥ ያክል እንደሆነና በብዙ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት የወደፊት እድገት ላይ ትልቅ አንድምታ ያለው እንደሆነ እናምናለን። በመላው ዓለም የምትገኙ የቤተክርስቲያን ልጆች ሆይ! በሩቅ ምሥራቅ ሀገራት ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ለምትሠራው የእመቤታችን ቤተ ክርስቲያን መሠረት እንዲጣል በምትችሉት መጠን የበኩላችሁን አስተዋጽኦ በማድረግ የበረከቱ ተሳታፊ እንድትሆኑ በእግዚአብሔር ስም መንፈሳዊ ጥሪያችንን እናስተላልፋለን። 

“ቤቴንም ሥሩ፤ እኔም በእርሱ ደስ ይለኛል፥ እኔም እመሰገናለሁ፥ ይላል እግዚአብሔር።” ሐጌ 1፡ 8 

ሰላመ እግዚአብሔር ከሁላችንም ጋር ይሁን

To all the believers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) all over the world

May God’s unconditional mercy and the intercession of His Mother, St. Mary be with you!

“I am living in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of God remains in an old tent. I will get up and build a house for my God.” 2 Samuel 6:11. 

With its recent establishment, the EOTC in South Korea is well-positioned to offer a wide range of spiritual services to the faithful living in the Korean Peninsula and its neighboring countries. The church has been performing its regularly scheduled sacramental services in a rental venue. Sadly, the heavy rains of this year caused a flood in the rented church building, which severely destroyed the church's equipment, including spiritual books and other items. As a result, the church's sacramental services were discontinued for a short while. Even though every effort was made to resume the sacramental session after the rainy season, the water could not be made to cease wetting the ground. In fact, it was difficult to execute a sacramental service in an unpleasant atmosphere because of the damage and the resulting unfavorable environment. 

By the grace of God, the church parish council is in the process of purchasing a church building. However, due to limited financial resources, the small number of EOTC believers in South Korea are fervently engaged in fundraising activities. Taking this into consideration, the parish council kindly calls on all of you to make a financial donation and envision its completion under the will of God and the intercession of St. Mary, the Mother of God. The parish council strongly believes that the strength of this church serves as a blueprint for other prospective churches that will be built in China, India, and other Far Eastern nations in general. 

“and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.” Haggai 1:8.
