SPOUTS Of Water
Over 10 million Ugandans lack access to safe and clean water. As a result, waterborne diseases are a leading cause of death for children under 5, taking more lives in Uganda than malaria or AIDS. Furthermore, $170 million is lost in Uganda per year due to the healthcare costs of treating waterborne diseases and consequent loss of productivity.
Our ceramic water filters are an affordable, effective and easy to use solution to water access in Uganda. Your support enables SPOUTS to install water filters in public spaces and refugee households, providing safe drinking water to Uganda’s most vulnerable populations.
$20 provides a filter that will give a refugee family safe water for over two years.
$80 covers the cost of providing a large-scale filter serving 50 individuals within public spaces including schools, healthcare centers, and churches.
