Dear Friend of the Narrow River Watershed,
This year, NRPA invites sponsorship from local businesses, across all our events and programs.
The Narrow River watershed, which encompasses sections of Narragansett, North Kingstown, and South Kingstown, is a resource we intend to protect for many generations to come. Since 1970, NRPA has been working to preserve, protect, and restore the natural environment and the quality of life for all communities within the Narrow (Pettaquamscutt) River Estuary and Watershed.
As an NRPA Sponsor, we'll ask for a copy of your company logo to use in promoting your business as one of our Sponsors in our newsletter, Narrow River Notes, on our website (narrowriver.org), on our social media accounts including Facebook with over 2,000 followers, and on the hundreds of T-shirts we provide our event participants and volunteers.
Your sponsorship, or organizational membership, supports NRPA’s public events, and preservation, educational and science programming, including:
- ‘What Lives in the River’ and ‘Art at the River’ public events that highlight the Narrow River as a safe and beautiful place to swim, recreate, and appreciate wildlife.
- NRPA River Watch, entering our 34th year of monitoring water quality in Narrow River in May 2025
- Education initiatives, including our 4th grade osprey education program, NRPA’s Lesa Meng College Scholarships, and our Science Fair Awards
