Meet Rusty

Rusty is safe but his journey is just beginning.

At only 3.5 months old, this little boy should have been spending his days exploring, playing, and learning about the world beside his sister. 

Instead, he and Ginger were rescued from a situation that left them both in need of immediate care, proper nutrition, and a safe place to finally breathe.

He is still just a baby, but he arrived severely overweight for his age, putting extra strain on his small, growing body. For a piglet this young, every day matters. His care has to be thoughtful and carefully managed, from his diet and movement to veterinary support, enrichment, and daily monitoring.

Now, he and Ginger are safe at Arthur’s Acres, where they will never again be treated as disposable. Here, they will be given the time, patience, and lifelong care they need to heal, grow, and become the happy, healthy pigs they were always meant to be.
