I'm looking for your help to launch my interview with the legendary Hugh Barney O'Barney as a podcast. Sponsors will get a mention in the introduction and help this great interview reach the masses. Please consider taking 2 minutes to sponsor it for €5, €10 or more. 100% of funds go towards podcast development and promotion.
Only June 24th, as part of Cootehill Arts Festival, I had the huge honour of interviewing my former English and history teacher - the legendary historian, author, actor and community activist, Hugh Barney O'Brien. It was a wide-ranging conversation full of humour, stories and fascinating insights that explored his remarkable life journey and everything from the history of Cootehill, to politics, religion, education, drama, his involvement in Drumlin House, and much more. We also had great music on the night, which ended with a performance of 'Sweet Cootehill Town' by Marcus Magee featuring none other than Hugh Barney on harmonica.
The 90-minute recording is currently being prepared for release as a podcast. I need a few more patrons/sponsors to help chip in to cover costs and help ensure this great episode reaches more people. Could you or your business/organisation/group chip in €5/€10/€20 or more? Chipping in via the below link takes just 2 minutes and includes a PayPal option. Any contributions received will mean I can give you a mention by way of thanks in the opening credits in the sponsored social media publicity that will go out to thousands. 100% of funds go directly into the podcast, which will go live next week and be promoted to 1000s of people. The live event attracted rave reviews and I'm sure the recording will too.
Thank you for your generous support.
