Sponsor Cortado!

Cortado was part of a large rescue of birds who came to the sanctuary in January 2023. Their caretaker was a local veteran who had fallen on hard times and was not able to provide care or proper housing for them anymore. We initially thought that Cortado and several other birds were going to be adopted out, but their adopter had to pull out and we were thrilled that these sweet girls would get to stay at the sanctuary.

We are still getting to know Cortado and the caffeine crew individually, but they are all shy, incredibly sweet, and curious birds. They are also the smallest residents at the sanctuary!
