Aubergine (Aubie) is a 10-year-old alpaca who we recently rescued. She was with her friend Amaranth but had been neglected for a few years and locked a barn for several days prior to our arrival. She also hadn't been sheared in three years. We are working to get Aubergine vetted, shorn (she needs it sooo badly!), and to build out a new stall for her so she can live in the comfort she deserves.

Aubergine is a sass machine! She is curious and likes treats but we have to be a bit careful as she's got a mean kick. We think Aubergine is going to get along really well with our youngest girl Pistachio.
