Andre was purchased by a farmer to be a breeding bull. The farmer eventually discovered that Andre was unable to father babies. So, because Andre had no value beyond money to the farmer, the farmer decided to kill him.

But, Andre did have more than monetary value to someone—his next-door neighbor, Lisa. Lisa begged her neighbor to allow her to find Andre a home. The farmer agreed to give Lisa 30 days—after that time period had expired, Andre himself would also expire.

Fortunately, Lisa found Critter Creek before this 30-day period was over, and we agreed to give Andre the forever home he deserves.
