The teacher at our school in Puerto Escondido is not currently earning a living wage. For him to eat, drink, place to stay, wash clothes, out here on the frontier, he needs to earn about $56/month. Currently for teaching 3 different classes at the same time, full time, with 3 different curriculums and test schedules he earns $37 a month. It's a sacrifice that we don't want to last forever. Until we can coordinate local family support of the instructor, we would love your help in providing this wage for Dieu Leur. In order for this school to continue to thrive, the teachers need to be earning a wage that can support their basic necessities.
